Product Description

Designed for walk-in shower and wetroom applications, the Ascent Wetroom Trays are pre-formed to create an effective water slope to the drain. They are floor level panels that can easily be trimmed to fit the shower area. Trays are ready to receive a tiled finish of the customers choice.

Ascent pre-formed Wetroom Trays are made using a waterproof extruded polystyrene (XPS) and are covered on both sides in a combination of polymer resin and quartz, compatible with most tile adhesives. All Wetroom Trays are exclusively made to accept QX range of Linear and Square Drains. They are sufficiently robust to be covered with mosaic tiles without the risk of compression through point loading.

Ascent Wetroom Trays and Boards are suitable for use with Underfloor Heating. All Drains can also be used without a showerbase.
NOTE: Ascent Wetroom Trays ARE NOT SUITABLE for Vinyl Flooring.

For trays with a corner waste – waste is positioned 210mm from the edge of the tray to the centre of the waste.

Pure Drain – ready for tiling with customers choice of tiles (not supplied)
Zonda Drain – Stainless Steel grating in mirror Chrome finish
Mistral Drain – Stainless Steel grating in mirror Chrome finish
Ponente Drain – Stainless Steel drain in mirror finish
Square Drains are produced from 304 grade stainless steel and feature a flange on all four sides, enabling a perfect waterproof seal between the tiles and the drain, complimented by a textile sealing membrane

Technical/Installation Information:
Can be laid directly onto existing wooden or concrete floors but must be supported over it’s entire area, including trap.
If the shower base is to be laid directly onto the existing floor boards, they must be in good condition and must be screwed down at very close centres.
When the shower base is laid onto a concrete floor, the surface below the shower base must be perfectly flat, with a channel for the trap and waste pipe.
Care must be taken when preparing the slopes to the drain in all applications.
