1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made via the GetMyTaps website or instore. By placing an order, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (and, where applicable, Scotland), and comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
We supply products only. We do not provide installation services.

2. Product Information and Accuracy
2.1 We take reasonable care to ensure all product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate.
2.2 However:
– Colours, textures, and finishes may vary due to screen settings and natural material variation
– Dimensions and specifications may vary within standard manufacturing tolerances
– Lifestyle images are for illustrative purposes only
2.3 Natural products (e.g. stone, marble , porcelain and ceramic tiles) will vary in shade, pattern, and texture. These variations are not defects.

3. Samples and Customer Responsibility
3.1 We strongly recommend ordering samples before purchasing full quantities.
3.2 Samples are indicative only and may not represent full batch variation.
3.3 You are responsible for ensuring:
– Product suitability
– Correct measurements and quantities
– Compatibility with your installation environment

4. Orders and Contract Formation
4.1 All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
4.2 A contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email.
4.3 We reserve the right to:
– Cancel or refuse orders (including due to pricing or stock errors)
– Limit order quantities
– If product is out of stock once order is received a full refund will be issued for all out of stock items.

5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
5.2 Delivery costs are calculated at checkout.
5.3 Payment must be made in full at the time of order.
5.4 In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel or amend orders prior to dispatch.

6. Tile Quantities, Batch Variation and Industry Tolerances

6.1 Tiles are produced in batches; slight variations in shade and size can occur between batches.
6.2 We cannot guarantee exact colour matching or batches between separate orders.
6.3 You should order sufficient quantities in a single order, including extra for:
– Cuts
– Breakages
– Future repairs
6.4 Industry standard tolerance for breakage and minor defects is typically 5–10%. This is not considered a fault.
6.5 Tiles should be mixed from multiple boxes during installation to achieve a natural blend.

7. Delivery Terms
7.1 Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.
7.2 Deliveries may be:
– Kerbside only (standard)
– Palletised via third-party couriers
7.3 Drivers are not obligated to:
– Carry goods into your property
– Navigate stairs or restricted access
7.4 You are responsible for:
– Providing accurate delivery details
– Ensuring safe and suitable access
– Being available to accept delivery
7.5 Failed deliveries may incur additional charges.

8. Risk and Ownership
8.1 Risk passes to you upon delivery.
8.2 Ownership of goods passes only once full payment has been received.

9. Inspection on Delivery (Critical Clause)
9.1 You must inspect goods at the time of delivery.
9.2 Any visible damage must be:
– Noted on the delivery receipt, and
– Reported to us within 48 hours with photographic evidence
9.3 Failure to do so may limit our ability to provide replacements.

10. Storage of Goods
10.1 After delivery, goods must be stored:
– Indoors
– In dry, suitable conditions
10.2 We are not responsible for damage caused by improper storage.

11. Installation Responsibility and Limitation
11.1 We do not provide installation services.
11.2 All products must be installed by qualified professionals where appropriate.
11.3 Before installation, you (or your installer) must check all goods for:
– Damage
– Defects
– Correct specifications
11.4 We are not liable for:
– Installation errors
– Costs of installation or removal
– Claims where products have been installed despite visible issues
11.5 Installation of goods constitutes acceptance unless the product is inherently faulty.

12. Returns and Cancellation (Consumers)
12.1 You have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving goods under the Consumer Contracts
Regulations 2013.
12.2 You must return goods within 14 days of cancellation.
12.3 Returned goods must be:
– Unused
– In original packaging
– In resaleable condition
– If sealed no seal must be tampered with or broken.
12.4 You are responsible for return shipping costs unless goods are faulty.

13. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned unless faulty:
– Made-to-order or bespoke products
– Special order items
– Opened or used sanitary/hygiene products

14. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
14.1 Your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
14.2 Where goods are faulty, we may offer:
– Repair
– Replacement
– Refund
14.3 We are not responsible for:
– Labour or installation costs
– Consequential losses

15. Warranties and Manufacturer Guarantees
15.1 Many products include manufacturer warranties.
15.2 These warranties are subject to:
– Proper installation
– Correct use and maintenance
15.3 Claims may need to be made directly with the manufacturer.

16. Product Use and Suitability
16.1 Any advice provided is general guidance only.
16.2 Final responsibility for suitability rests with you and/or your installer.
16.3 We are not liable for incorrect product selection.

17. Limitation of Liability
17.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
17.2 We are not liable for:
– Indirect or consequential losses
– Loss of profit, business, or income
– Third-party or installer costs
17.3 Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods.

18. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including:
– Supply chain disruption
– Transport issues
– Industrial action
– Natural events

19. Trade Customers (If Applicable)
19.1 If you are purchasing in the course of business:
– Consumer protections may not apply
– Returns may be restricted
19.2 Separate trade terms may apply where agreed.

20. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, for purposes including:
– Order fulfilment
– Customer service
– Legal compliance

21. Complaints Procedure
Complaints must be submitted in writing. We aim to:
– Acknowledge within 5 working days
– Resolve within 14–28 days

22. Dispute Resolution

22.1 We will attempt to resolve disputes amicably.
22.2 Disputes may be referred to mediation before legal proceedings.
22.3 Courts of England and Wales (or Scotland, where applicable) shall have jurisdiction.

23. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

24. Entire Agreement and Severability
These Terms constitute the entire agreement. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.
