Electrical only heating:
When selecting an element(s) we advise to choose one which matches closest to the radiators T50 Watts as possible without exceeding the products maximum. Exceeding the maximum runs the risk of the element overheating. This can be done using more than 1 element if required.

Electric only installation, element(s) should match room BTU / Watt requirement, and supersede the radiator output when selecting suitable size product.

Example room requires:
1900 BTU’s or 556 watts, requires 600 watt element so you would be unable to select a radiator under 600 watts.

Dual Fuel element:
As this method usually means the electric element is a back up rather than primary system an element can be as low as 50% of the maximum radiator T50 Watts.
